Oct. 31st 2017, 25 programs were suspended and left in limbo at the University of Wisconsin-Superior. An official selection at the Catalyst Content Film Festival in 2019, this feature documentary documents the stories of the people most affected and looks deeper into what this means for the University of Wisconsin System!

Bliss: An Artist's Portrait of Charlene Sinitski

Charlene Sinitski is an 80 year old fabric artist residing in Oconomowoc Wisconsin. Charlene makes intricate quilts and dolls. From teaching to having her patterns featured in fabric publications Charlene continues to follow her bliss and create these amazing pieces of art. This is her story!
The Scarves We Wear

Kulsoom and Sakina are two average Minnesotans, except for one thing... The scarves that they wear! In this documentary short, we dig deeper into the ordinary lives of these women, and how they were effected by the 2016 Presidential Election.

BIO

Megan McGarvey is an independent Wisconsin Filmmaker currently residing in the twin ports! Graduating with a bachelors degree in Digital Cinema at the University of Wisconsin Superior, Megan has continued to create ambitious and inspiring films. As an Oconomowoc native, Megan loves filming stories about your everyday Midwesterner. She has always believed that the best stories in life come from the people around you. Megan has worked on documentary, narrative, and stop-motion films. After directing her film, Outsourced: the New Wisconsin Idea, with Grey Forest Pictures she became contracted with Honey Bee Pictures, to work on their narrative feature, Bittersweet. Currently,she is developing a documentary series collaborating with both Grey Forest Pictures and Ivy Media.
